As a Mom of 3 kids (2 boys and a girl), I spend quite a bit on toys for my family. One thing that’s so disappointing is when I shell out money for a toy that’s an instant flop! When you spend money for toys, you want it to be a hit with your kids, not sit unused until it’s time to ship off to Goodwill.

That’s why I decided to create ToyTestDrive.com – to help other parents, relatives and friends see which toys kids really appreciate before you order it.

Sometimes, kids don’t know best. The commercials they see on TV make a toy look like SO much fun! But when they get it in real life, the TV editors aren’t present to make it more appealing, so all you see is disappointment on their faces.

How ToyTestDrive.com Works:

Everything you see listed here is a toy that my family owns and reviews personally. Some, you’ll see that I gush about – while others I tell you to steer clear! I’m all about being blunt and honest, so I’m going to show you what I love and hate about everything you see listed.

Some reviews will include pictures, videos and/or text. I am a protective parent, so I never show my kids’ faces on the Internet. I will sometimes get their own feedback on video but you’ll only hear them talking, while videotaping the toy in action.

At the end of my review, I will link to the toy itself so that you can see what other people have to say about it, get more details, or order it.

To find a toy, you can scroll through the categories I have listed OR, use the search box to find the toy by name. If you don’t see something listed, feel free to email me and ask me to do a review of it. For toys my own family doesn’t want, I will buy them and donate them to the Women’s Shelter after my review.
