Hi everyone! I have to say I’m a little angry right now as I write this. I was going through more online information about this toy – the My Keepon robot that I ordered TWO of for Christmas – one for my 12 year old son and one for my 7 year old daughter – and I found out something disturbing.

You see, I ordered this toy – fresh out of Japan – as a pre-order so we could have it the minute it hit the states. I paid $49 each for them after watching a zillion YouTube videos of other people in Japan making their My Keepon dance and interact with them like crazy.

Well my kids and I did our review based on what we knew at the time, as you’ll see in the video below. But NOW I just found out that the reason I’m so disappointed is that the YouTube videos online that are so awesome are from the My Keepon PRO version (not yet here).

How aggravating! I feel ripped off. No wonder ours don’t work as well as what I saw (you’ll see in the video). It’s bad enough my knuckles were bleeding by the time we got the batteries in, two days AFTER Christmas, but to find out I got tricked really makes me angry!

I say save your money and don’t buy the My Keepon. The Fijit has much better reviews. For older kids, we do own this robotic toy: OWI Robotic Arm. Now about this one – it comes with a million parts but clear instructions. The whole point is to spend time putting it together and seeing it work! Kids love it – my husband made ours with our son, Shawn (age 10 at the time) and they love it.

Okay here is our My Keepon video review – I’d better go calm myself down now. And I’m SO sorry I didn’t realize this was on zoom when I filmed the first art. Seeing me REAL up close and personal today! LOL
